AutoCAD 2022 [New]
Released in the 1980s, AutoCAD was the first commercial CAD program for personal computers. From its inception, it was developed to work in tandem with the industry-standard Microsoft Windows operating system. As the first serious attempt at porting an existing commercial application to a desktop platform, AutoCAD was a huge hit with users, who often paid a royalty for a license to use the program. AutoCAD was also one of the first applications to receive a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) approval. While this approval was the first step in making the software eligible for use in medical device design, the FDA approval did not represent a widely accepted method of software regulation for the CAD industry. AutoCAD was the first widely used CAD application on desktop PCs, and was the standard in commercial CAD at the time.
The years following AutoCAD’s release saw the rise of commercially available CAD software for the PC as well as the rise of the PC itself. AutoCAD was on the cutting edge of the PC revolution, and many users who began in the early 1980s remain around to this day. Today, AutoCAD is available in three different versions.
AutoCAD LT
Released in 1987, the initial version of AutoCAD was called AutoCAD LT. Originally only available for sale to educational institutions and educational technology vendors, it was distributed free to universities and other educational organizations. AutoCAD LT enabled users to create and edit 2D drawings and 2D and 3D models. Users could place objects on the drawing canvas and could view and manipulate the objects with the on-screen pointer. Users could also link object files to form the basis for parts of a larger model. Users could create and edit objects and place objects in a drawing, but they could not share their drawings with other users.
AutoCAD LT was the first product to use AutoLISP as its language, and it was the first application to make extensive use of VDU (Vector Display Unit), a computer graphics technology that was then only available on computers with a dedicated graphics card.
AutoCAD LT was limited in scope and power, but the ability to use it free of charge was important to the success of the product. Personal lives 
Aadil Khan was an active and well-respected member of the Delhi AutoCAD Users Group and also mentored many budding autocad developers. He was widely known for his great passion for Autodesk products and was active in spreading the message about the benefits of AutoCAD and inspiring people with it. He passed away on 12 January 2014 in New Delhi.

AutoCADDynamics of cortical actin organization in the Drosophila eye-antennal disc.
During the development of the Drosophila ocellar imaginal disc, actin polymerizes at the apical plasma membrane and the cell-cell junctions. We have studied the dynamics of this actin assembly using an affinity-tagged form of the globular actin-binding protein ABP-280. The accumulation of this protein at the apical region of the disc is dependent on AP-2, an activity implicated in the assembly of apical membranes. We also used in situ hybridization to follow the distribution of ABP-280 mRNA during disc development. The pattern of expression and accumulation of this mRNA is similar to that of the protein. We found that during early stages of development, ABP-280 and actin polymers colocalize in a dynamic pattern. The colocalization was restricted to areas where the proteins accumulated, but not necessarily at the apical membrane. The dynamics of ABP-280 and actin polymers were also different. We found that the stability of ABP-280 polymers is lower than that of the actin cytoskeleton. These results indicate that there are differences in the dynamics of ABP-280 and actin polymers, which may be due to the distinct function of ABP-280 during the apical growth of the imaginal disc.Q:
