Computer Science Education Week 2023 ~ Resources for Early Learning
December 4-8 is Computer Science Education Week (CSEdweek). COMPUTER SCIENCE EDUCATION WEEK IS AN ANNUAL CALL TO ACTION TO INSPIRE K-12 STUDENTS TO LEARN COMPUTER SCIENCE, ADVOCATE FOR EQUITY, AND CELEBRATE THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF STUDENTS, TEACHERS, AND PARTNERS TO THE FIELD. A coding lesson will promote creativity, communication, critical thinking and collaboration and can also teach students directional words, positional words, counting, and sequence. Check the apps, websites, research articles and videos below for tools and guidance on how to integrate UNPLUGGED or PLUGGED coding into your early learning classroom. While there are so many great resources for coding for young learners out there, here are just a few examples to help you participate in Computer Science Education Week 2023.
