The Sonoris Equalizer is an advanced multi-band equalizer that allows you to fine-tune your mix in the areas that count most. The Sonoris EQ functions as a true semi-parametric two-band equalizer with seven bands and independent VU meter control for every band. All filters have phase, group delay and resonance control. You can get natural sounding curves for low and high frequencies without compromising on your song's clarity.
The Sonoris EQ is easy to use. You can intuitively adjust any band's parameters by using the graphical display and the front panel. These user controls include:
Curve: Huespots to select different filter types, which can be set to linear, VU, EQ cut, EQ boost or shelving. You can also use the vu meter to hear the curve in real time.
Peak: Controls the peak control.
Resonance: Controls the resonance control.
Lowpass: Lowpass controls the low frequencies.
Highpass: Highpass controls the high frequencies.
Doubler: This doubles the gain of the signal and is most often used when enhancing the low and high frequencies.
Analog: This is a smoothing filter that can be used to remove technical artifacts from the sound. The analog setting can be tuned in a range between 20 and infinity.
Shelving: This is a straight shelving filter.
Expert Settings: You can change the settings for each individual band.
The Sonoris EQ also has an automatic upsampling mode, which can be selected in Expert Settings. In this mode, the EQ has an even more accurate response, especially at the higher frequencies.
The Sonoris EQ offers additional features like input level meter, band rolloff, input/output level, different filter sizes to fit your needs.
The Sonoris EQ has two modes for the 'Peak' controls: For the VU meter mode, the filters' center frequency is moved closer to the audio band. For the 'Peak only' mode, the filters' center frequency is set in the VU meter.
Also the following presets can be selected in Expert Settings:
'Riders Tune' adjusts the frequencies of the radio station, a tool that most frequently causes EQ warping or prewarping.
'LP/HP Shrink' reduces the high-pass and low-pass frequencies to meet with the HP and LP settings, respectively.
'Hard EQ' sets the highs to 0

Sonoris Equalizer is a 7-band parametric digital equalizer. The plugin features 7 bands, including a lowpass, highpass, peaking filter and shelving filter. The plugin can be configured for stereo, L, R or (M)id and (S)ide processing. The plugin also has a large graphical display that shows exactly what you get and controls for easy adjustments.
Processing is done in the frequency domain, so your output signals remain in the z domain. The plugin features a parametric upsampling mode that causes the filters to adapt to the new input frequency ranges. In this mode, the filter characteristics are even more accurate. In mastering, it can be used to center a centered vocal.
Band settings are made easy with the ability to monitor the different channels. Two meters, left-right balance and stereo balance allow you to adjust the equalized channels visually and then adjust the plugin's settings accordingly.
The Sonoris Equalizer is designed to be a minimum-phase equalizer with filters that match their analog counterparts over the entire frequency range.
