9/6/2020 Qualification Update
Hi all, below is a quick update on the situation regarding your qualifications. You will all be receiving a letter, email and a teams message with a personalised update on any outstanding work you need to complete in guidance with the IMI's agreed adaptations.                                                                                                                                           
The Motor Vehicle Department, along with the IMI, have been working together to find a solution for learners who were unable to complete practical assessments and online examinations due to the current Covid-19 pandemic. On the 1st June we were asked by the IMI to submit an ERF form, outlining any outstanding work that needed to be completed by learners.  
As a result of this, the IMI has implemented the Adapt strategy. This means the assessments for these types of qualifications may be adapted, taking into consideration the proposals which are suitable under the current public health restrictions and do not contravene the requirements of the IMI and Reaseheath College. This has allowed us to replace all online tests with the written assignments. I am pleased to inform you that all learners can achieve a pass on the course with the completion of the written assignments and any outstanding written practical tasks 
Thank you for submitting work to date and completing the tasks that were set for you, however you now have until the 30th June to complete any outstanding written practical tasks and written assignments then submit them to your assessor for marking. 
The qualification has been adapted you will not be able to achieve a pass unless you complete these tasks. Morning Video calls on Teams are mandatory and you still need to attend these, if you have any issues or concerns regarding completion please contact your Course Manager immediately to discuss. 
We have a wonderful network of support at Reaseheath College, with all of the tutors and instructors who are available to help you between 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
