UCAS APPLICATIONS
The internal college deadline for UCAS applications to be completed by learners was 27 November. Once learners have 'Paid and Sent', their tutors begin the process of checking each application. This entails verifying that any previous qualifications have the correct grades entered, that current qualifications are accurately recorded and that the learner's personal reference and predicted grades are added. When this is all complete, final approval is given and the application is sent from us to UCAS. Each predicted grade has an equivalent number of UCAS tariff points and these are used to meet the entry requirements for each course. You can check UCAS tariff points here.
With over 500 applications either in progress or already sent, it is a substantial task for us undertake. We aim to ensure that each application is processed and sent to UCAS within 14 days of a learner completing their application, so those that met the deadline will be sent before the end of term. Learners who met the internal college deadline will be given precedent for processing.
For those learners who have still to submit their application, we will continue our support and will process as soon as we are able, ensuring that all general applications for Undergraduate courses, arrive at UCAS before their deadline of 15 January 2021.
