OcrFisplit is a small utility that compresses images of 8bit TIFF files into multiple compressed TIFF files. It uses multi-threaded TIFF library to quickly run through multiple images in a folder or file. The TIFFs files are compressed with the LZW algorithm to save disk space and increase their transfer speed. The compressed TIFF files are called OcrFisplit.exe.enc and are compressed with the LZW algorithm.
With ocrfisplit you can split a multi-page tiff file into one or more single page tiff files. With multithreading you can split more than one tiff file at once.

OCR File Splitter is a powerful application designed to monitor a folder for the arrival of a multi-page Tiff image. It will create one file for every incoming file. The splitting of the multi-page Tiff image into smaller multi-page Tiff images is controlled by an easy to use file monitor.
The only time there will be more than one file output from the program is if there is a cover page present or if there are less than the set number of pages that are required.

Fast- Since the program doesn't actually scan the document it only needs to monitor the folder in which the multi-page tiff image is located for any arrival.
Split documents with varying amounts of pages - The program can automatically split a multi-page tiff image into smaller files. It is up to the user to enter the number of pages to split.
