Plot
Naagin who is known as the "Females Serpent" resides in Lohawat mines in the mountains of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Naagin has been asked by the "Goat King" (referred to as "Gudiya Kaun" in Indian languages) to watch the caves of the "Goat King" in order to see who the future Goa'at (Goat King) is, since she has had an affair with a "Tiger King" and a "Dishum" (Water-dwelling) King. The Goa'at is an omen of a terrible tragedy that was to happen in the caves if something does not change soon.
The series starts when King Veer Nath of Brijgarh kingdom suspects his subjects have turned into snakes and starts killing them. The king's sister, Roshni goes to seek Naagin's help. She wears her clothes and has a ring with her necklace removed. When Naagin comes, she is startled at the sight of her, and Naagin being used to this, points out her human form. When Roshni asked how she could help her when Naagin could not kill herself, Naagin asked her to simply stay out of her way and go home. Naagin later tells King Veer Nath that she cannot kill any snake who is in human form. King Veer Nath gives Naagin a bag with the bodies of his subjects.
It is later revealed that the king is the sixth in the line of the "Dishum" (Water-dwelling) King. His father was killed by the "Tiger King" because his father told the "Tiger King" his secrets. The "Tiger King" killed his father and married his sister who married the "Dishum" (Water-dwelling) King. Naagin is also seen having human form with some of the chiefs of the Naga tribe. The head chief of the Naga tribe tells her that the king of Brijgarh is evil, and if something is not done, the Naga tribe will start taking revenge for their people. Naagin goes back to her cave to consult her husband, "Asoo".
