Emissions Trading Scheme mentioned in Gujarat in World Environment Day Programs
On the occasion of World Environment Day, an online program organised by the Gujarat govt., supported by the local District administrations. In his address, Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani mentioned that “To control and mitigate adverse effects on the environment due to the burning of coal in industries, the Emission Trading Scheme program that has been successfully started in Surat, will now expand to industries across Gujarat.”
