IPDA Ireland facilitated this open Twitter Chat to prompt thought and discussion around the topic of Universal Design for Learning and its implications for professional learning and development. In Ireland, AHEAD, UCD and the National Forum for Teaching and Learning have been instrumental in providing a visibility to the value and importance of UDL through a 10-week Open Badge designed for educators. Overall, 3000+ participants have received their UDL badge and a further 514 have completed a facilitators badge. In our Twitter chat, through focused prompts and questions, we hope to provide space to explore and critically reflect on “what’s next in general for UDL and professional learning and development”.
