The present invention relates to a pedal device having footrests that change their inclination relative to an excitation direction of the pedal device when footrests are stepped on.
2. Background Art
The present applicant proposed a pedal device as described in JP-A-2005-93436. A pedal device 10 of the prior art is illustrated in FIGS. 10 and 11. The pedal device 10 includes a pedal arm 12 having a crank pedal 11, a crank shaft 14 rotated by stepping on the pedal arm 12, and a crank arm 15 swingably coupled to the crank shaft 14.
A pair of footrests 16 are provided on the pedal arm 12, and are swingable between a non-step position (FIG. 10) and a step position (FIG. 11). In the non-step position, the footrests 16 are supported in a direction orthogonal to an excitation direction of the pedal arm 12. In the step position, the footrests 16 are supported in a direction parallel to the excitation direction of the pedal arm 12.
A handrest 17 is provided on an excitation side of the pedal arm 12, and is rotatable around a rotation axis. A handrest driving shaft 18 is provided so as to engage with the handrest 17 and be rotated by rotation of the handrest 17.
A spring 19 is provided between the pedal arm 12 and the crank arm 15. The spring 19 biases the crank arm 15 to swing about a hinge (not shown) attached to an end portion (left end portion in FIG. 10) of the crank arm 15 in a clockwise direction. The hinge is not fixed

With Mini Translator, the user is able to create CSV files that are used as EDI X12 sample documents in order to send or receive data from/to partners. The software works with any type of source text documents, from CSV to Microsoft Word. The file should have the same file name and format as the source files of the sample templates in order to use them for data imports. Every container in the file should have a unique name; data are automatically'stripped off' the container name, so that the user does not have to enter them all.
Mini Translator's output files contain the translated data along with valid EDI X12 tags (for example, if the input file is a SQL database, the output files will also be in SQL format).
The program can be executed either via command line, or through an intuitive and easy-to-use GUI.
There are three options for data processing: 1. Translate a file into another file, 2. Rename a file to create a new one, and 3. Append new content to the file.
2. Translate and save CSVs
To get started, drag and drop any source text file into the tool to open it for editing. As soon as the container is found, any unrecognized tag is highlighted and becomes editable. Tags are allowed in any order, but header and footer tags will be deleted and the file will be saved with header & footer tags added.
Also, empty tags are automatically placed into a 0 value. If there are blank fields, the user can drag and drop them, too.
Once the file is edited and saved as a CSV, it can be sent to any destination via the 'File > Transfer Data Files' button.

3. Append content to a file
In this feature, either a CSV or Microsoft Word document can be used as a source. The container format will be recognized automatically, the source text will be added to the file, and any unrecognized tags are shown in a list of errors.
4. Rename a file
Like the example files, once the container's format is recognized, the container name will be automatically'stripped off' before adding the source text.
With this feature, the program allows one to rename any file, by simply double-clicking it. If the targeted file is a CSV, it is automatically edited in the proper format.
