The current Soundbus only supports 16 bit sample rate, but according to my tests I was able to play 24 bit samples from host even when my Soundbus was using 16 bit format. In the future I will try to make the Soundbus supporting 24 bit sample format. So please let me know if you have a 24 bit host plugin and want to use Soundbus.

It seems you are only sharing your VSTs, Soundbus does not support broadcasting. Also the outputs from the VSTs are not bridged to the host, they are just copied to the Soundbus
