Use of Life is a “game book”-style multi-ending RPG, featuring a battle system unique to RPG titles.
In this game, the main character’s various “attachments” fluctuate in accordance with the choices the player makes, changing the character’s way of thinking.
The ending you experience changes depending on “the use of life” you choose through your journey.
Will the main character uses their “life” for their own good, or for the benefit of others? This all depends on the decisions and choices you make as the player.
The following “light novel” will serve as a bit of a companion to the game.Game book-style narration
Within this game, events will be narrated through the use of "game book"-style events and situations.
Making use of the game book-style narration, the player will be able to experience "the way it is" as a result of the decisions made and actions taken.

Game Books 101
“Game books” are a genre of light novels where the story progresses on multiple pages, and the change of pages represents a character's thought or reaction to the events occurring in the story.
In a game book, the average length is around 100-200 pages, and it's a format where it's possible to skip pages and move forward through the story.
Since a game book is a type of novel, the theme of “As I see it…” is expressed through the words used to narrate the story.
The phrase “game book-style narration” is a phrase used in regard to this kind of format.
The file we have created for the story is simply an outline for the story, and does not have any specific narrative device or language in it. Even if we were to change them, the game book-style narration would still be applicable.An RPG that's able to portray “good” and “bad” in a good way
This game represents a new type of RPG, where it's possible to experience the consequences of "good" choices as well as "bad" choices.The "Light Novel Part I" (Story Outline) is this week's theme!
