There's a ton of tech stuff that Ford has to offer that the GM's don't have. The engine is a forniture of it's own with all the new technology. If you can't get it at your local Ford dealer you can always go to www.ford.com and look for it.
To be honest, all of the tech stuff for the Ford are good. Ford makes a big deal about the engine/technology/auto-climate etc. but don't really make the vehicle better. My son is a Ford fan, he bought his 335i and it is his favorite to drive (he's at this age of trying cars). But the reason why it was his favorite is that it was the best handling car that he's driven, not the best technology or power or anything.
My second car is an Accord. It was so much better for maneuverability and handling than my first Accord. But my first car (Leaf) was better in many ways. I did so much research on this before I bought it. I knew I wanted an AWD, AWD, manual transmission, and hybrid.
Then I got to do all the research on my car, since it was so new and no one else wanted it. I found out that all Leaf's are the same and the one I wanted was built in 2004 or so, that was still some time before they switched to the bigger battery. I also found out that the one I wanted had 14 MPG or so on avg, a slight problem for me considering I'm a college student. After researching all the options, I got a better car than I was looking for, but it was still fun.
My Accord has been reliable and dependable, I've never had any major issues with it. But when I got the Leaf, the clutch was leaking after driving for a few months, and it just took longer to get it fixed. The car is good to go, it has 220 miles on it and hasn't
