The countdown to the Grand Theft Auto V Online release date has begun. In an interview with GameIndustry.biz, Dan Houser revealed that Rockstar Games is aiming to release the online portion of Grand Theft Auto V in Fall 2013.
"We're testing it in Rockstar Beijing right now," Houser said. "We want to get the servers up by the end of next month. We've just released the [entire game] for the past three days. Once that's fully tested and solidified, we want to launch it online - around September next year or so."
The footage shown in the clip was revealed earlier today in the Official Grand Theft Auto V Reveal Trailer.
"With each patch we add new features, new functionality, we try to balance to make sure it's a fun experience," the developer added. "We're really happy with how much fun people are having with it already. People are playing it in weird ways, and we're really focused on making that experience even better."
