Hollywood is taking an incredibly risky gamble on a well-known superhero origin story that promises to be filled with plenty of faith in our modern morality.
After the stunning success of the smash hit superhero drama Black Panther, the film industry is now banking on The Avengers and Captain Marvel to produce multi-billion-dollar franchises that will bank on the faith they inspire from mainstream audiences to make major profits.
Superhero movies are currently a $22.4 billion worldwide industry, with a recent tally showing that the superhero genre has proven particularly popular with women and ethnic minority audiences.
But early estimates have begun to place Avengers: Infinity War on course to smash its own previous record as the biggest film of all time, having been predicted to earn a whopping $1.5billion at the global box office.
Announcing the prospect of a superhero blockbuster empire, Sony Pictures chief exec Amy Pascal recently boasted that her company was now “so excited” about the superhero trend.
“The [Black Panther] numbers that we’ve got coming back,” she said. “It’s so exciting. It’s an industry that I’m really happy to be a part of.”
But could the superheroes end up being more of a curse than a blessing for Hollywood? The ‘A’-word has often been a bad omen for movie studios, having seen the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe go down in flames with the colossal collapse of the late 2000s comic book franchise The Dark Knight Returns.
And now many have begun to fear that — if the excellent success of Black Panther is anything to go by — the Avengers could cause another disastrous implosion after Disney opted to heavily re-vamp the landscape of the Marvel brand as The Avengers: Infinity War movie looms.
What is it about superheroes that has proven so popular among both adults and kids? Steven Weintraub of the Collider news site went so far as to claim that it was nothing more than a “delusion” that film, television and even the gaming world would follow the trend.
“We’re still numb,” he wrote in an article after the release of Black Panther last year. “We’re still all in shock. … People still want to see a black superhero with dreadlocks.”

It's a point system. Based on your total points every time you die, the next time you go back online you’ll earn points that eventually helps you reach level 60 when you blow through all the levels on the menu.
The new gear will have 8 new pieces.
The way this works is that when you reach level 30, your total points will automatically increase by 1,000 points. This is kind of like unlocking the next leg of the level.
Goggles and helmet go from 50 points each to 4,000.
Weapons start at 100 points (and go up to 10,000).
New helmets will go from 300 points to a whopping 10,000 points.
Drinking will now have 20 different animations. It'll make you go on to different points on the map. However, your pockets will be empty and no robux can be found.
Destroy your office wall to earn more money.
Hang out with the smoking bros to earn more money.
Play in the server with the 4 armed man (the one sitting on top of the building in the right bottom corner).
The 4 armed man is a very strong player who can help you a lot with the games that require you to play with friends on a server.
Players with above level 15 can now play in the server with level 5 players for 5 minutes.
There are now 25 total levels on Roblox.
Gems are the new currency on Roblox. Click on crates/etc. to earn lots of gems.
It's rare to find this but you can now fly with the Goggles and helmet item on.
Bugs can be found on Roblox. When there's a bug, you can start a new game and when it's fixed it should stay in your game list.
Easy Rules to Play
To follow these rules, click these things once every 30 minutes or whenever you feel like it.
Levelling up your Roblox account is really easy now. There's only a few things you have to do. The trick with this is that you have to do this specific order.
Buy a Boost or spend coins. Then, come back and click the purchase button.
Play with cheats. (Leveling up faster is a huge advantage. There's nothing cooler than leveling up really fast.)
Join a Roblox server.
