The Summer Fiesta Physical Fitness Challenge commenced at 11.00 AM on 08/08/2020. The competition was inaugurated by our Vice principal Ms.Anita Singh along with Headmistress Ms.Anju Mehta. In the first day of Minute to Win competition, we had 3 participants from shining star International school, who competed in different physical fitness challenges; Push up Challenge for Boys and Jumping Jacks challenge for Girls. The participants have to do the maximum number of push ups and jumping jacks in one minute. Hadi from Grade 8-C competed in the junior category and secured first place with 10 points by doing 24 push ups in one minute. Adwaitha Nair and Athulya Menon from grade 6-C secured first and second place with 10 points and 7 points by doing 70 and 59 jumping jacks in one minute. Mr.Vijesh and Ms.Arya where the two panel of judges who monitored the whole event.

In the second Summer Fiesta Physical Fitness Challenge which was conducted on 17/08/2020 we had competitors for all the 4 categories. Almost 9 participants competed in different fitness challenges. In the Sub-Junior category Saanvi chouraria from pearl academy secured first place with 20 points by completing 56 Jumping Jacks and 16 Burpees in one minute respectively. In the Boys Junior category Adity Sineesh from shining star International school secured first place with 20 points by completing 22 push ups and 14 Burpees in one minute respectively and in the girls section Adwaitha and Athulya from shining star International school shared the first spot with 17 points. In the Senior category Abhiram from Chinmaya Vidyala,Thrissur secured first place by completing 32 push ups and 19 burpees in one minute respectively.In the Adult category girls section Kavyasree from UC College,Aluva secured first position with 10 points.

In the Third and the final Summer Fiesta Physical Fitness Challenge which was conducted on 23/08/2020 , Saanvi chouraria from pearl academy secured first place and won the overall championship in the sub-Junior category with grant total of 30 points.She successfully completed 74 skipping in one minute. Athulya Menon and Aditya Sineesh from Shining Star International School was declared the winner in the Girls junior category with a total of 27 points and Boys Junior category with 30 points. Abhiram M S from Chinmaya Vidyala,Thrissur bagged the championship in the Boys Senior category with a total of 30 points and Kavya sree from UC college, Aluva secured the championship in the Girls Adult category. The whole event was monitored by Mr.Vijesh and Ms.Arya
