Software, in its most general sense, are sets of instructions making a computer work. Remember the recipe we looked at last lesson? Making a cup of tea? The kettle, tea-bags, spoon and so on will not result in a cup of tea unless there is a recipe or set of instructions on how to put them together to make a result=cup of tea. .
