Emerging employability skills for young people - Focus on Tech, Data & Business.

Coursera has nearly 3 million learners in the UK. During their session, Martin and Dasha will highlight the skills these learners are seeking out and how colleges can use this insight to start to update their own curriculum and student career support. They will bring in real-life examples of other UK colleges innovating in response to the changes in the labour market and national skill shortages, while presenting Coursera’s approach to skills transformation. Finally, they will touch on the challenges the UK economy is facing, and why delivering higher technical qualifications and expanding the HE provision is a natural focus for the UK's further education system.
