Online Program Development

As a leader in online learning and one who may go on to initiate a new online program or even virtual school, it is critical to assess the current landscape of K12 online education to determine if a new program is needed. Statistical trends point to the continued growth of student enrollments in online programs and virtual schools. It is now estimated that there are 2.7 million students engaging in digital learning, and a total of 477 full-time virtual schools and 306 blended schools operating throughout the US (Molnar et. al, 2021; Schroeder, 2019).
