Part 1: Initial research in teams
The first part of the day saw pupils get into their groups and start their research. The aim of the day was to design, cost, create and pitch a board-game and recycled toy. Pupils needed to pick and research a theme and then organise themselves into four groups: Design, Costing, Media and Pitching.A highlight of this phase for me was seeing pupils from Year 13 to Year 6 all working together. We ask Year 6 pupils to join us, so that they can get to meet Secondary students and pupils to begin their transition to Secondary at Britannica. Pictures below
