SystmOnline is a great online service which allows you to book appointments, order repeat prescriptions, view your medical records and send secure messages to the practice. Please visit the surgery and collect Online Access to Medical Records Form. You will need to complete this form and return it with photographic proof of identification such as a Passport or Driving Licence AND proof of address such as a utility bill. Once you have your log-in details, simply log-on to SystemOnline via our website or by clicking here. You will be asked to change your password to something more memorable once you have logged in. You can then use our online service, making future repeat prescriptions or appointments much easier and more convenient. REGISTER ONLINE Patient Access connects you to local health services when you need them most. Book GP appointments, order repeat prescriptions and discover local health services for you or your family via your mobile or home computer. SystmOnline is a website and app provided by TPP which allows patients to view their electronic medical record as well as providing other features such as appointment management or ordering repeat prescriptions SystmOnline is still available on browsers for those wanting to access their information on a computer but the SystmOnline app has been replaced by TPPs new patient-facing app, Airmid. Airmid provides users with existing SystmOnline functionality plus lots more. If you have used SystmOnline previously, you can still use the same login details to access Airmid, downloadable from both the Apple App Store and Google Play. SystmOnline gives you as a patient, easier access to your GP and medical data, allowing you to conveniently manage your healthcare.Through the SystmOnline app you are able to update your contact details, book appointments, request repeat prescriptions, view your medical record and more. If you are unable to use any of these features it will be because your GP practice has not yet made them available to you. Note: In order to use this app, you must have a username and password given to you by your GP or other healthcare professional. This App does not seem to have been updated for 2 years and the lack of support shows. The appointment system is useless - it does not allow you to view appointments more than two weeks ahead. Since there are rarely appointments available at my GP at less than a month away it means it is impossible to book an appointment. Yet you can do so online. It does give access to basic records and test results, although it seems not to update the test results very quickly - you can see them online days earlier. It shows medication on repeat prescription but my attempt to order any just kept coming up with page not found error. I had to go back online to do it. It does not allow you to reorder recent medication that is not on repeat, although again, you can do this online. So overall the need to use the web based system leaves this app pointless. But the web system is difficult to use on a mobile device so the app could be useful if it worked properly. Much as I would like to be able to use this app the repeat prescription request function doesnt work for me - whilst I can see my medications listed when I highlight them & click Request nothing happens. A great pity as this was my main reason for wanting to use the app, I now use the online version instead. This works better in that it does allow you to append notes to the request before sending. Ive yet to try & make an appointment via the app as I havent needed one but it will be interesting to see if that functionality is lacking as well. So much for patient power! Unfortunately, shoddy software like this is often forced on users by organisations that have no understanding of software development or testing, and dont actually used the software themselves. I must now use this app to order my prescription, and it has been a terrible user experience since day one when the account sign up process failed and it took 3 attempts and calls to support to resolve. It annoys me that I must log on to the app every time I use it. The UI is not intuitive, it is confusing for new users to work out how to actually order a subscription. When you have placed your order it displays a message your prescription will be ready on the date above but displays no date. Looking at the help text it has ??? markers suggesting that it was never completed, it was certainly never reviewed during testing (if it was ever tested). Surely the NHS must have someone who understands enough about software to be able to make an informed choice about the systems they force on their patients? The developer, TPP, has not provided details about its privacy practices and handling of data to Apple. For more information, see the developers privacy policy.
