Launch of the 2019 EM2030 SDG Gender Index

Equal Measures 2030 presented the 2019 SDG Gender Index at the Women Deliver 2019 conference (WD2019). Participants were invited to explore the new index through EM2030's exhibitor booth, side event, press conference, plenary, and other engagements. The 2019 SDG Gender Index is hosted on the Gender Advocates Data Hub, and measures the state of gender equality in 129 countries, aligned to 14 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 51 gender equality issues. The 2019 SDG Gender Index will be used as a baseline for tracking progress on gender equality regularly until 2030.
