A Digital House
As mentioned in their free Educator Guide, "Wakelet is a free platform that allows you to curate and organize content to save and share. You can save videos, articles, images, Tweets, links or even add your own text". If you are new to Wakelet, then this blog is a perfect entry point as it also takes the form of a Wakelet collection.
I have come to think of Wakelet as my own digital house. If you think about it, what is a house other than a place to keep all your stuff. Check out George Carlin's wonderful "Stuff" comedy sketch for an idea of what I'm talking about. At least with Wakelet, you don't have to move house when you start collecting more and more stuff!
 I am not the most organised of people naturally so have relied on digital tools for years to help me stay organised (I often joke that I use technology to make up for my failings: I have lots of failings so use lots of technology).
Wakelet is the perfect tool to help with your organisation and find any content that you have saved with a click of the button (and it's not taking up any space on your computer so bonus!) You can save videos, Tweets images, PDFs, OneDrive and Google Drive Files, YouTube videos and even record your own Flipgrid videos. I find the saving Tweet options especially useful as being part of one of the best education PLNs in the world in the #MIEExpert community means that there is so much amazing content being shared from educators around the world and if you don't save it somewhere, it can be easily lost and take ages to find (if you ever manage to find it again).
By either using the share option on your phone if you have the free Wakelet app or by installing the Wakelet collection for the Edge or Chrome browsers, you can either save content directly to an existing collection or create a whole new collection.
Another step I've taken is to set my Wakelet account as my homepage. This means as soon as I launch my browser, all my Wakelet collections are immediately available to me...just like stepping through the front door of my house.
