Zooming in and out of the waveform is very fast. Command-click and drag the mouse to zoom very accurately, while the wave is being refreshed more than 100 times per second. Even when the files are several hours long, when the file has not finished loading, or when an effect is being applied, TwistedWave remains very responsive.

This app is a little more technical than ocenaudio, but with the benefit of extra features. Sound editing tools include cut, copy, paste, delete, insert, silence, auto-trim, compression, and pitch shifting, and audio effects include amplify, normalize, equalizer, envelope, reverb, echo, and reverse.
