Meet Film4

Film4 Productions have funded some of the most outstanding recent British films, beginning in 1982 with Stephen Frears’s Walter. The company has gone on to make films such as Topsy Turvy, Trainspotting, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Touching the Void, Dancer in the Dark, A Field in England, 12 Years a Slave and Ex Machina. On Monday 1 June we hosted an evening with the development team from Film4 to hear from them about how they work with and nurture talent, the funding that's available to filmmakers, and about their creative focus over the next few years.
