Mr. Stroessner - 8th - ELA

Welcome to Mr. Stroessner's ELA class. We're going to have a blast reading and writing this year! I have been teaching for 20 years. I enjoy playing the bass guitar, taking photographs and going fishing. I look forward to a fantastic year with my students. Writing is an amazing way to explore and create. You can discover your imagination through writing. It allows you to communicate to people and express your ideas. This year, we will write short stories, poems, songs, plays, research papers, and many other pieces of creative writing. Reading is one of the most important activities you can do. It opens a world of opportunities. Reading triggers your imagination and allows you to explore anything interesting to you. It can change your life, and you can learn so many wonderful things through books. We will explore many novels, short stories, plays, and poems this year.
