There are a variety of amusement rides that are well known to the public. Some are designed primarily to amuse adults, while others are designed to amuse children. Most of these rides are designed for an entire family, and usually consist of a slow moving vehicle that is steered by the rider using handlebars. Many of these rides provide a visual effect for the rider, which is usually somewhat unusual and amusing. For example, many rides have an animated character that is moved through the air as the vehicle travels on a track. Other rides have a vehicle or "cart" that is moved on a track or through a "course". The latter design requires that the rider sit on the cart, and actually controls the cart by moving a steering wheel or "steering" mechanism. While riding on the cart, the rider can then view the cart in motion by observing the movement of the cart through the cart's own power and momentum. The rider can either view the cart moving directly in front of them, or to one side, or to the other. These rides are typically boring for children, because they generally offer only a stationary or slowly moving cart that the rider observes through the cart's own power and momentum. This approach is not very interesting to children, and therefore most children consider these rides to be boring and uninteresting.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a child's amusement ride apparatus that provides a uniquely exciting and entertaining ride for children.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide a child's amusement ride apparatus that is simple to manufacture and easy to operate.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a child's amusement ride apparatus that is inexpensive to manufacture, and which provides an extremely enjoyable ride for children.
It is a still further object of the present invention to provide a child's amusement ride apparatus that has an internal mechanism for steering the vehicle, and a mechanism for turning on and off an exciting event that can
