■ Roblox is an online game platform and game creation system developed by Roblox Corporation that allows users to program games and play games created by other users. ■ The platform hosts about 600 games created by both casual and professional developers. More than 90% of games are free-to-play games; only about 8% are paid games. The premium games sell from $4 to $20 in-game.
■ Roblox is published by Roblox Corporation, which is a privately held company headquartered in San Mateo, California, USA. The founding team includes Erik Cassel, founder and chief executive officer; David Baszucki, founder and chief technology officer; and Eric Hart, co-founder and chief operating officer.
