K-5 Lesson Description: Students will examine the parts of a circuit and practice creating open and closed circuits. They will understand the role of circuits in society and how electrons can be used to produce light, heat, and movement. 6-12 Lesson Description: Students will explore the changes in distance between the planets and use this data to construct a model of the solar system. Using this model, students will calculate the average speed and time needed to transverse these distances.
