In May 2013, Autodesk acquired the rights to the copyright, trademark, and intellectual property associated with AutoCAD and other Autodesk software, including AutoCAD Architecture, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and all other Autodesk products and services.
The standard Windows version of AutoCAD is the 2017 Release, although Autodesk has a History of Releases which is a detailed description of the releases of Autodesk software products since AutoCAD's first release in 1985, and Autodesk Ideas which is a company publication.
