India wants Pakistan to take action against those behind the attack in Indian-controlled Kashmir.

India has said militants operate on both sides of that line and that the attack on the convoy must be investigated without any political interference.

Pakistani media reports say the army has for the first time deployed soldiers along the Line of Control that divides Kashmir between India and Pakistan.
Pakistan has also blocked visits by Indian diplomats in Islamabad to investigate the attack.
