December 2022 Weston Elementary School Newsletter

The month of December brings many classroom activities and performances. Our 1st-3rd grade students will have musical recitals along with our Band students. The Weston PFA held its Jog A Thon Awards Assembly this past week. Many thanks to Wendy Swanson and Amy Tazelaar who are the JAT coordinators. They help organize this fundraiser with the support our our PFA board members along with so many parents that volunteer to help the day of the Jog A Thon. The 2022 JAT raised $43,000 which was used to help with the purchase of Promethean boards in our classrooms. Our next project will be replacing some of our playground equipment on our 4th-8th grade side of the campus. This will be a $60,000-$80,000 project!
