Here are a few tips to help you earn full credit:
Be sure to read the instructions carefully and respond to all questions in the prompt
Review the readings and learning activities prior to writing your initial post
Make specific references to the readings and learning activities in your posts.
Read the sample provided with each unit's discussion prompt to see what an "A" initial post and response would look like
Use the grading rubric as a checklist to make sure you are fulfilling the Level III criteria
Respond to at least 3 classmates' initial posts 
Follow up with those who respond to you
Make sure responses go beyond saying “good job” or merely expressing agreement AND that they focus on that unit's main topic 
Ask questions, mention helpful examples, respond to your classmate’s open-ended question, and generate a discussion!
 Edit carefully for errors
Use APA citations to credit sources and use respectful, inclusive language
