February 2023 Weston Elementary School Newsletter

The month of February teachers and students are preparing for state testing in grades 3-8 along with many other school events sponsored by our student council. Our 8th graders will have many visits beginning in February from different academic departments from Ripon High School. Our 5th graders are currently selling raffle tickets to offset the costs of their science camp trip for the 2023-24 school year. Student council will be selling Candy Grams the first part of February. Weston Parent Faculty Association: We are still in need of parents to serve as officers in the following positions: President and Vice President. The Secretary position will also be vacant in May 2023. Please contact Mrs. Fereria at lfereria@riponusd.net if you are willing to serve. Fundraising by our Parent Faculty Association (PFA) continues as we are now "saving" for the purchase of new play equipment on the 4th-8th playground. This will be a $60,000-$80,000 project!
