We are seeing an increased use of emerging technologies such UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) technology to improve the efficacy of the response and social resilience. Drones are being used to transport medical samples, disinfect public areas, and transport consumer good to regions that have had their usual logistic systems disrupted - the renowned last-mile delivery challenge.
