GEOGRAPHY
For this topic, we focus on 'human geography'. This is different to the physical geography we've looked at before, as we are now concentrating on the things that humans have done to change an area. Human geography focuses on land use and settlements. 
The first link will give you an explanation of the different types of settlements we have in the UK. The second link will take you to a document listing the many Tudor castles we still have in England today. Can you use Google Maps to locate them perhaps? 
What was the use of castles, back in the Tudor times? Why were they built? What purpose did they have?
