Step 5️⃣: Facilitate your second live virtual exchange!

Hooray! After your students have met each other, coordinate a second meeting time with your partner educator! A few activity options: 
Empathy Hearts: engage students in a discussion about empathy and different ways to show care and concern for others
Food with Friends: connect with your partner class to exchange stories and experiences related to food
Ways We Play: meet your partner class to explore how kids play around the world 
My Identity: Open Mic: read a set of identity poems written by authors from different backgrounds, and then ask students to write and share their own poetry
Guardians of the Environment: invite students to reflect on their roles as protectors of the Earth and ways they can practice kindness to the world around them (bonus: great for celebrating Earth Day together!)
