AutoCAD for iOS was announced in late February 2013. In the summer of 2015, the AutoCAD mobile apps for iOS and Android have been discontinued, but were briefly available for purchase at a discounted price.
AutoCAD is free to try out until 30 days after downloading it. It can then be purchased from the Autodesk website. (However, the trials offer the same functionality as paid versions.)
Benefits
AutoCAD is used by design professionals, such as architects, engineers, and contractors. It is used to create a two-dimensional, 2D drawing. You can also create a wire frame 3D drawing, as well as model structures. This includes the ability to view and rotate the design from different angles.
You can customize AutoCAD by opening the Preferences dialog box. You can adjust the color of the drawing, modify the font and arrow style, and alter the line and annotation styles.
Your work can be saved as a DXF (AutoCAD drawing format), DWG (AutoCAD drawing format), PDF (Portable Document Format), WMF (AutoCAD drawing format), or AI (AutoCAD drawing format) file.
File formats are not compatible with other programs. You can import and export data with the standard data formats. Files can be shared with other users or saved on a CD or DVD.
A drawing can contain a great deal of information. Data types include points, lines, circles, circles, polygons, arc segments, text, and solids. You can store the information as attributes, edit it on the fly, edit the attributes while a drawing is open, manage or remove attributes. You can also name a drawing.
Types of AutoCAD Drawing Features
There are three main features of a drawing: entities, style settings, and annotation.
Entities
You can use entities to add content to a drawing. Entities include points, lines, arcs, text boxes, and dimensions. These objects have attributes.
Points and lines are the primary drawing components. You can create points and lines with the line and point tools. You can use the line tools to draw and modify existing lines and points, create new lines and points, and draw various polylines. You can use the point tools to create new points and delete existing points.

Additionally, Automation can be accomplished through the use of the Automation API, which allows users to register and react to events in an application. The API is available as a COM component and can be used from other languages.
Integration and connectivity
AutoCAD is installed on computers running Windows XP SP2 or higher.  As of AutoCAD 2011, an Autodesk account is required for product registration. A one-time registration fee is charged, along with a monthly subscription fee.
AutoCAD's capabilities can be extended using a variety of interfaces and modules:
AutoLISP: Add-ons created using AutoLISP can be integrated into AutoCAD. The Application Programming Interface (API) is available to write add-ons and provide a wide range of functions.  AutoLISP has been used in a number of AutoCAD add-ons for many years.
Visual LISP: Create AutoCAD add-ons using Visual LISP.  Visual LISP extensions for AutoCAD are called Visual LISP extensions.
Visual Basic for Applications (VBA): Develop a VBA extension for AutoCAD using Visual Basic for Applications.
.NET: Develop an AutoCAD add-on using.NET.
Autodesk Exchange Apps: This toolset provides a set of premade AutoCAD add-ons that can be downloaded from the Autodesk Exchange apps.

In the present study, we investigated cortical adaptation to human smooth motions. In total, 10 subjects (10 runs, 20 trials per run) were presented with two types of smooth motions, sine wave and random walk. A visual stimulus consisting of a 10 x 10 grid was also presented to the subjects during the experiments. The visual stimulus was displayed in conjunction with a motion stimulus at approximately 5 Hz. The subjects were instructed to judge whether the motion direction of the smooth motion was right or left. The level of perception of motion was measured with a rating scale. We performed the motion-induced adaptation experiments at the occipital and occipito-temporal cortices in three subjects.
