Animal Testing affects on Rabbits

Rabbits are one of the most popular animals that get tested on, because they are cheap to maintain, small, and docile so laboratories can keep them in restraints. Rabbits are mainly used in the cosmetic industry for brands like Maybelline. During testing, rabbits undergo many tests like getting injected with chemicals in their eyes and back. Rabbit's eyes are very sensitive so being used for cosmetic testing is excruciating. When the rabbits are not being used for testing they are kept in small cages deprived of food and water and any social interaction.
