Seven children at Renton Elementary School in Washington were suspended last week for allegedly hurting a fellow student at a toy in what Seattle police are calling a "toy fight."
Investigators said the fight happened after 7th grader Ja’Kalona had been playing a video game on his iPad while his brothers, 8-year-old Ahtan and 5-year-old Dhai, remained in the living room in the same room.
Police said Ja’Kalona was playing a shooting game. At some point, Ahtan picked up a plastic drone figure from the floor and started punching the drone.
At first the game was about the drone hitting Ja’Kalona, police said.
"They were playing the game and the drone does hit the person, it's called a kill," Police Sgt. Mark Jamieson told KIRO Radio’s Dori Monson.
Then, according to police, Ja’Kalona punched his younger brother, and that’s when police said the fighting “escalated.”
“They were both being physical with each other, Ahtan allegedly threw a plastic toy drone at Ja’Kalona,” Sgt. Jamieson said.

Police said the boys were “in an argument over the game and the rules of the game.”
All seven children were suspended from Renton Elementary School for 10 days and
