AutoCAD allows users to create 2D surfaces (2D drawings), which is similar to creating polyline or polygonal surfaces.
2D drawings are also used to create surfaces for 3D drawings.
How to create 2D surfaces (2D drawings)
Open and edit the drawing of the project you want to create a surface for, and then use the Select surface command to select an object or group of objects, or an area on the screen.
