Yahoo Messenger Archive Enabler 
This application will help you to enable or disable Archive function in the Yahoo Messenger in an offline way.
It is compatible with all Windows version which is running on AOL Windows Messengers version 1.2 or later.
The simple steps to use this tool are:
1. Launch the application
2. Click on "Import Files" button. The application will detect the current AOL Messenger version and ask you to select the folder location.
3. Click OK and the application will import AOLMessenger.exe application file. AOLMessenger.exe is located in the application folder.
4. Finally double click the AOLMessenger.exe to launch the AOL Windows Messenger.  
If the user selected the Archive function, the message will be appended with the Archive message to previous messages.
The messages will be deleted when closing the Microsoft Windows Messenger.
If you select the unarchive, the user will be able to save all the previous messages in the user desktop location or into a network folder and then decide to delete the message.
If the user doesn't want to archive the message it will be saved in the ChatHistory.dat file located in the user desktop folder with a ".dat" extension.
The message will be deleted from the ChatHistory.dat file when AOL shuts down.

The Yahoo Messenger Archive Enabler is a simple utility that will help you to automatically switch between the Archive enabled mode and the Archive disabled mode in Yahoo! Messenger for a specified user or all users in a computer in an offline way.
