I never really thought about the merger of Disney/21st Century Fox.  I just watched Marvel movies at the theaters and thought cool.  After listening to the audio file "INF 140 - What's Wrong With The Disney/FOX Deal, Anyway?" it makes me aware of other issues that I wasn't aware of.  There is a lot of potential economical issues that might come up.  The big one is Monopoly.  This technically illegal due to the Sherman Act.  This is so one company can't create a unfair advantage by controlling a market and causing issues for other competitors.  Sure Disney can now make a lot more content faster since they have more resources available to them but this can cause unfair issues for consumers, employees, and other business.  We have to be aware of this merger and others like it as consumers so we don't support companies that have the potential to do this.  I am not saying that Disney has bad business practices or are hurting the movie or other industries.  Just something as consumers we should be aware of.  That being said.  I still have a Disney+ account and currently I am enjoying watching Loki the mini series.
