In October 2019 I received an email from The Wakelet Team titled, “How Educators Are Using Wakelet,” and I was hooked. When the pandemic hit the United States in March, education changed overnight. I turned to Wakelet to learn how educators around the world were reaching their young students. The resources and advice were endless.
	Wakelet Community Week was a very bright spot in a tough period throughout the world, but particularly in the United States. It was very inspiring to see people from around the world unite to improve the lives of children and to commit to changing the status quo. I was most moved by Ken Shelton and Rio Ferdinand’s presentations and the discussions each had with Misbah Gedal. The conversations were quite thought provoking and, as my family will attest, I have spoken about them frequently. In fact, I plan to use snippets of those videos with students.
