I picked up the book last Friday while waiting for my daughter during her procedure. This book is not my usual genre, but I found myself engrossed in it for the entire two hours I spent in the waiting room. The writing style flows effortlessly, making the reading experience thoroughly enjoyable.  I was a baby when Jimmy Carter became president and not being from Georgia, I did not know much about Jimmy Carter. "Spoiler" Rosalynn had so much courage and strength. The things she went through moving around the country with small children when he was in the service was hard. Jimmy had a very restless nature, diving into different community programs and eventually getting into the political ring all at once, plus running a business had to be stressful for Rosalynn. She had so much patience with Jimmy. It was interesting to learn that Jimmy experienced election interference in his first election.  Also, that they were in the peanut business, which Rosalynn eventually had to run on her own. I am loving the book! I am in awe of Rosalynn. I can't wait to get home to dive back in tonight.
