Wearable pain relief devices

Wearable devices that provide pain relief are becoming increasingly popular. Spinal cord and Peripheral nerve stimulation devices

For those with chronic neuropathic pain that does not respond well to oral treatments, implanted spinal cord or peripheral nerve stimulators may be suitable options. Techniques utilizing virtual and augmented reality are showing ability to reduce both acute procedural pain as well as help manage chronic conditions. Studies have found virtual reality games and environments can effectively divert attention away from painful medical procedures such as wound care or physiotherapy by immersing and distracting patients.
