Nowadays, the negative effects of Climate Change are the most evident to us. The worst part of it is that we, humans, are the main root of why climate change is happening. According to Myclimate.org. (2021) and Jackson, R. (2020), the negative effects of climate change are as follows: sea levels rising, stronger and more intense hurricanes, increase in hunger and water crisis, pests and pathogen increase, etc. With this, there is a big number of people around the world who care about this issue. As stated by Painter, J., & Simge A. (2020), fewer than 3% people in a vast majority number of countries that don't care about climate change. Through this, it is evident that this recurring issue matters the most to people around the world. Additionally, as stated by World Wildlife Fund. (2021). and Climate Reality Project. (2019), the other negative effects of climate change to our well-being and health are more intense and longer allergy seasons, longer, common, and severe heatwaves, warm oceans that can harm animals, wildfires that harm plants and other animals living in gigantic forests, etc. Not only is the weather affected but the human race, animal kingdom, and plants are all affected negatively. All these negative effects of climate change can eventually lead to our extinction on Earth, rather, the extinction of Earth itself. In conclusion, although there may be benefits to climate change, we must not ignore the negative effects of this. In order for animals, plants, and humans to keep living on Earth, we must prevent climate change from affecting the Earth negatively in the biggest way possible.
