How to avoid flickering when changing a GDI+ picturebox background
My application has a picturebox which displays a preview of an image selected by the user. I have code to change the background color to white, depending on the current selection. The application is quick to execute and the code to change the background color is relatively small. The problem I have is that when the code is executed the picturebox briefly flickers to white. I tried to reduce the size of the picturebox by setting the width and height to the smallest values I could and still allow the background to be visible, but that did not solve the problem. Any ideas on how to avoid this problem?
