He was the descendant and son of Nasiruddin Humayun.

His Nobility, Administrative Measures, Bravery and Shrewdness made him a successful ruler.
He built many buildings using Persian, Central Asian and Indian styles in Harmony.
Art, architecture and Literature all flourished under his rule.
Akber was known as most Liberal ruler in Indian History.
Most Muslim Scholars have criticized him for mixing Hindu and Islamic Culture and Traditions.
He introduced a new system of belief Deen e Elahi (the religion of god) in his court.(it contained the teachings from both Islam and Hinduism and it was a new way of bringing Harmony between the Muslims and the Hindus of India).
Akber's court was famous for Nauratans (the nine gems), who were his most loved, favored and talented people.
He also ebolished brutal Hindus Costumes like Sati and Child Marriage.
