Players can also use virtual items, such as equipment and weapons to enhance their characters. Players fight other humans to take down their "Bug," a mechanical enemy robot that serves as the game's main antagonist, and to reach the high score. Starting in February 2016, players may also create their own "Pirate" ship, which they can use to take over other players' "Bugs" and fight them. Players may also band together to form a "Pirate Clan" in which they can trade their power between one another, take part in emotes and commands, and participate in community events.
